4m - 3n = 8
4m = 3n + 8

4m - 3n = 8
Solve for m. Add 3n to both sides.

4m = 8 + 3n
Divide both sides by 4 to isolate m.

m = 2 + 3/4n
or
m = 2 + 0.75n
