The moon is about 240,000 miles from Earth. How many days would it take a spacecraft to reach the Moon if it travels at an average speed of 100 miles per minute?

Hello!

To see how many days it will take to go to the moon, and the spacecraft goes 100 miles per minute, we'll need to find how many miles the spacecraft goes per hour. So first you'll need to multiply 100 by 60 since there are 60 minutes in one hour. Once you've done that you should have 6000 miles per hour. Now you'll need to divide 240,000 by 6000. Once that's done, it will take 40 days for a space craft to reach the moon

I hope this helps!
