f (-2) = 3*(-2)^2
3*4= 12

The formatting of this question is unclear. Is the original question supposed to read
f(x)=3x^(2)-x or
f(x)=(3x)^(2)-x assuming the former:


f(x)=3x^(2)-x

f(-2)=3((-2)^(2))-(-2)

f(-2)=3(4)+2

f(-2)=12+2

f(-2)=14
