The most appropriate next step for this process is to re-examine the chest.

Tachycardia is termed as a heart rate that exceeds normal resting rate. In adults over 100 beats per minute is being expected to a tachycardia adult.
The normal resting rate for a person depends on age. When there are excess heartbeats, then the heart pumps less efficient and provides less blood flow to the rest of body.
