What was a power given by th Articles of Confederation

The Articles of Confederation gave most states powers it gave states "a unicameral federal legislature" which allowed states to create laws. Even though the only problem with the Articles of Confederation is that the states didn't have the ability to tax so they couldn't afford most daily life services. States adopted an entirely new set of written laws the Constitution in 1789.
