Since film x rays were made over 100 years ago, the technology has bettered not just for the doctors but for the patients too. Did you know Digital X-rays use 70% radiation than the Film? Yep, but not only is it less harmful, its also less work. With all the modern technology we have today I can say that work is much easier. And once again its just helping us even more. Did you know digital will detect more problems than film because its easier to see things? It's true. Everything Digital does is healthy, productive, and if you ask me, I would go back to film ever again.

Answer:

  • The digital x-ray uses less radiation than the traditional x-ray.
  • It is done faster.
  • The digital X-ray image has superior quality compared to the traditional X-ray image.

Step-by-step explanation:

You may have heard of digital X-ray, which is a radiological examination using ionizing radiation, with the aim of creating digital images of some internal part of your body.

it is done in a similar way to traditional x-rays, but in a more modern and safer way for your body and the environment.

First, the digital x-ray uses 70% less radiation than the traditional x-ray, which establishes a strong protection for your body and the employee who is assisting you in the exam.

Another positive point is that the images generated by the digital x-ray are much higher than the images taken by the traditional x-ray, which prevents you from having to retake the exam and receive another charge of ionizing radiation.

Finally, the digital x-ray is performed much faster, since it is not necessary to print the images. This is a very important benefit for patients who need images of their bodies urgently.
