CCC was a public work relief program that operated from 1933 to 1942 in the United States for unemployed, unmarried men. It was one of the most popular of Roosevelt new deal policies and by 1933 summer, after Roosevelt formal request to congress CCC,was able to employ over 250,000 juniors. by its disbandment in 1940's, it had employed nearly three million people of all races.
