All you do is plug 3 into x so your new equation would be
F(3)=1/3(4^3)
=1/3(64)
F(3) = 64/3 is your answer its simplest as that.

To solve this problem you need to realize that f(x) basically means y, but the (x) is the actual value of x.
Thus, the equation would actually be F(3) =1/3*4^3.

The first step to solving that equation is to PEMDAS.
This means you need to solve 4^3 first. The solution you should get is 64.

You then want to multiply 1/3 by 64, which is 64/3 A.
