What does it mean for two figures to be congruent

The word congruent in math means 'to be exactly equal in size and shape'

To have two figures to be congruent, they must be CPCTC, which means that (taking out triangle (or T), and replacing it with shape). Congruent Parts of a Congruent Triangles (now shapes) are congruent.

This means that if you can prove that at least 3 parts (sides or angles) are congruent, the rest mean that they are congruent too.
