Jacob says the following is not a function:

(1, 5) (3, 7) (5, 9) (7, 11)

Is he correct? Explain why or why not?

Answer:

He is wrong

Explanation:

for it to not be a function the x coordinates would have to repeat at some point

ex if it was not a solution:

(1,5)(1,8) (3,7) (5,9) (7,11)

as you can see the 1 repeats which makes it not a function but because your doesn't have anything repeating then its a function
