When a person is arrested for a felony or misdemeanor and jailed rather than ticketed, he or she will be arraigned before a judge. What happens next?

If a person will be jailed due to felony or misdemeanor, he or she will be arraigned before a judge. Then, the charges will be explained and will be reminded of his/her due process rights. In addition, the bail will generally be set aside until further notice.
