Jeff writes comic strips for local newspaper. The number of comic strips he created is represented by the function f(x)=3x, where f(x) gives the number of comic strips ans x is the number of work hours he put in, which varies day to day. If he puts in. 3,4,7,9 work hours, how many comic stris can he write?

If Jeff writes comic strips at a rate of 3 comics an hour then you must put 3,4,7&9 into the function and add up the products.
