The block on the left is 5 by 6 by 7.
Multiply the values: 5*6*7 = 30*7 = 210

The block on the right is 3 by 7 by 9
which multiplies out to 3*7*9 = 21*9 = 189

Add the results:
210+189 = 399

Answer: 399 cubic inches

Note: we can write "cubic inches" as "in^3"

Answer:

The volume of the figure is:

399 cubic inches.

Explanation:

The volume of the figure is equal to the sum of volume of two rectangular prism.

(one with dimensions 5 in, 6 in and 7 in.

and the other with dimensions 3 in. , 7 in. and 9 in. )

Volume of rectangular prism with dimension 5 in, 6 in and 7 in. is:

Volume= 5×6×7=210 cubic inches.

and the volume of the rectangular prism with dimension 3 in. , 7 in. and 9 in. is:

Volume=3×7×9=189 cubic inches.

Hence, the volume of the figure is:

210+189=399 cubic inches.
