One goal of the Congress of Vienna was to restore power to absolute monarchies.
The Congress of Viena was celebrated between 1814 and 1815 and gathered many conservative European leaders who sought to design a long-term peace plan after the French Revolution and others derived from it and after the Napoleonic Wars.
Apart from restoring peace, they aimed to restore former state formats, as they did not support republicanism or other revolutionary principles. Therefore, they wanted to return to absolutism and old regime and they determined to create a joint army that would enforce such decision.
