What is the equation, in point-slope form, of the line that is parallel to the given line and passes through the point (4, 1)?

y − 1 = −2(x − 4)
y – 1 = (x – 4)
y – 1 = (x – 4)
y − 1 = 2(x − 4)

Given line coordinate points (-3,3) and (-2,1)
so slope = (3 - 1)/(-3 + 2) = 2/-1 = -2

parallel lines have same slope so slope of new line = -2

passing thru (4,1)

equation in point slope form:
y - 1 = -2(x - 4)

Answer is A. first one
y - 1 = -2(x - 4)
