Hi,

10 gm of alum is dissolved in 90 gm of water . calculate the mass by mass% of the solution

Mass by mass % = mass of solute / mass of solution * 100



- Solute - alum ( 10 gms)

- Solvent -90gms( water)

Solution = 90+10=100 gms

- % of solute = 10/100*100=10%

- % Of solvent = 90/100*100=90%
