How is contemporary ballet similar and different from classical ballet?

Answer: Ballet is the foundation of all the dance styles. Ballet is very technical and strict with tbs and pointing your toes and turning out your legs. And then their is contemporary is more of letting lose and putting more emotion and feeling into the dance. Like becoming say water and trying to copy the way the water flows.
