Do you believe that the countries of Europe did the right thing to create a balance of power and alliances after the fall of Napoleon? Was 100 years without a "new Napoleon" worth the danger of possibly making a small war into something huge?

The balance of power and alliances lead to WW1, but that was going to happen anyway at some point in history.

Answer:

The best thing that Europe did was seizing the powerful and prominent territories and settling the conflicts that existed among the countries. Due to the emergence of the alliances, the states remained safer because of the protection from the unions.

Entire Europe, therefore, remained in a stalemate that promoted peace in the country. The order later promoted prosperity and reorganization of the country that was essential in avoiding any further conflicts. Thus, there was the harmony that dominated many parts of Europe.
