What is the difference between tension and suspense?

Tension is more of something that most people describe as a "thick" emotion in the air. It is often a "negative" energy or aura caused by two people who are angered with each other. Tension can also be a "positive" energy or aura. It may also be caused by two people who are engaging in a romantic encounter.

Suspense is more of an anxiety or when someone is anticipating for something to happen next. This often happens when people are watching a scary movie. Suspense can also be caused by excitement. This can often occur when someone is waiting for something rather exciting or positive to happen.

I hope this answers your question. Sorry if this wasn't enough information.
