Answer:

Globalization is the phenomenon caused by the intensification of international exchanges and investments on a global scale which, in the decades between the 20th and 21st centuries, have grown faster than the world economy as a whole, with the consequence of a tendency towards ever greater interdependence of national economies, which has also led to social, cultural, political and technological interdependencies whose positive and negative effects have a planetary relevance, uniting trade, cultures, customs and cultural heritage.

The positive aspects of globalization include the speed of communications and the circulation of information, the opportunity for economic growth for nations that have long remained on the margins of world economic development, the contraction of space-time distance and the reduction of costs for end user thanks to increased competition on a global scale.

The negative aspects are environmental degradation, the risk of increasing social disparities, the loss of local identities, the reduction of national sovereignty and the autonomy of local economies, and the decrease in privacy.
