He is likely to have problems with his hearing.
The brain is divided into distinctive lobes; one of these is the temporal lobes which is located behind the ears and extends to both sides of the brain. It is involved in vision, memory, sensory input, language, emotion and comprehension. Therefore; damage on the temporal lobes would cause hearing problems.

I believe the answer is Hearing

Temporal lobes are a major lobe of the cerebrum that located in the middle lower, between the frontal lobe and occipital lobe, below the parietal lobe. The main function of this lobe is to process the information that related to the sensory input of auditory, emotion, language and visual memory. Hearing/auditory problem would be the easiest sign to recognize.
