Given that MNOP is a triangle and angle PNO=42°, diagonals NP intersect diagonal OM, formuing an angle of x°. Since the given figure is a rectangle, NP/2=MO/2
thus
∠PNO=MON
since angle in a triangle add up to 180°
then
x+42+42=180
hence
x=180-84
x=96°
Hence the answer is x=96°
