the tools that should be used to record the most complete data about a gas are a manometer and a thermometer.
Manometer is a device that measures pressure; therefore using this device the pressure of a gas may be determined. A manometer consists of a U shaped tube of glass filled with some liquid; normally mercury. Thermometer on the other hand measures the temperature of the gas. It measures temperatures in degrees, according to either the Celsius or Fahrenheit.
