Based on the religious vision of Nanak, Sikhs believe that: "there is no Muslim and there is no Hindu. "

Explanation:

Before the birth of Sikhism, there were two most dominant religions in India, viz. Hinduism and Islam. These two religions used to stay engaged in communal conflicts most of the time.

In such conditions, Nanak gave birth to a new philosophy which was based on the idea of faith. He told the people that there is no Hindu or Muslim, there is just the divine and the faith towards it .

His message was to be, "There is no Muslim and there is no Hindu."

The message of the vision was that Nanak had been singled out as a prophet of the true religion. Sikhs also believed that faith is a new and independent religion
