Think about the various processes that take place in the body or in the natural environment and come up with a list of at least five that you believe represent redox reactions. You don't need to include the chemical formulas; just write the substance names or provide a description of each process. Think about the processes that occur within your body every day as well as those that take place within plants and animals, all of which involve chemical conversion.

Answer:

Redox reaction is a chemical reaction that involves a transfer of electrons. So, basically it's every oxidation reaction where molecules or atoms gain or lose electrons.

A big example of this is metabolism processes. Also, it's developed in cellular respiration, this involves the energy transformation form the food we eat, helping to produce ATP.

Redox reaction is a chemical reaction that involves the exchange of protons and electrons between reactants to form new products. Examples of natural occurring redox reactions are;

1. Photosynthesis – electro chain in the photometer of the chlorophyll pigment.

2. ATP synthesis/respiration in the mitochondria membrane where oxygen molecule is the ultimate proton acceptor to form water.

3. oxidation of iron metal causing rusting/corrosion

4. Combustion is carbon is converted to carbon dioxide.

5. Nitrification and denitrification processes where nitrogen is converted to nitrogen oxide and vice versa
