Average all the numbers; then for each number, subtract the mean and square whatever you get; then average the new results out; take the square root of the new average, and you are done.

Like this: 2+3+5+11+12+13+14+14+14+16+16+16+17+18+18+18+21+21+21+22+22+23+23+24+25+25+26+28+29+29+31+31+33+33+34+35+41+41+42+44= 911

then 911 - 40 = 871

then 2-871= -869

√869 = 29.5

then do that same process for all of the numbers individually.


All of the new square rooted answers you get, work out the mean, and after working out the results of that, take the square root of the new average.



THEN YOU ARE DONE!



The final answer should be somewhere around: 10.24814008
