Put the degrees in order from highest to lowest (descending order, that is) and you'll get
3x^(4) -7 x^(3)+5x+10. The degree of a polynomial is equal to the highest exponent on a single term. Our highest exponent is a 4, so this is a fourth degree polynomial.
