Hey!


Alright, the first solving this problem would be to subtract 35 from both sides. This will give you 8p on its own.

Original Equation :
37 + 8p = 65 + 7p

New Equation {Changed by Simplification} :
8p = 7p + 28

Now we'll subtract 7p from both sides.

Old Equation :
8p = 7p + 28

New Equation {Solved by Simplification} :
p = 28

So, in the equation 37 + 8p = 65 + 7p, p = 28.
