Carbon chloride is a name of a valid chemical formula?

No, in a chemical formula you have to include both a positive and negative element.
Since both carbon and chloride have a positive charge, they wouldn’t be able to bond and create a compound.

This reason makes this an untrue statement.

nitrogen monoxide

copper (II) carbonate

chloric acid

Those all make up a vaild chemical formula.
