If the pressure in a person's aorta were to triple then, IT WILL INCREASE THE FLOW RATE BY A FACTOR OF 3.
Based on the table given above, 1 kilogram per square centimeter of blood pressure results in the flow rate of 20 milliliters per second. If the blood pressure is increased to 3 kilogram per square centimeter, it means that the flow rate will become 60 milliliters per second.
60 /20 =3.
