Mult all 4 terms by 2 to elilminate numerical fractions:

n-4 - 3(2) = 3(2) - 4n - 6

Group like terms together: -4 - 6 = 6 - 4n - 6 - n, or -4 - 6 = 6 - 5n - 6

Simplifying, -10 = -5n, and thus n = 2 (answer)

Answer:

n=2

Explanation:

The given equation is

(1)/(2)(n-4)-3=3-(2n+3)

Distribute 1/2 and minus sign over the parenthesis

(1)/(2)n-2-3=3-2n-3

Group the like terms

(1)/(2)n+2n=3-3+2+3

Combine the like terms

(5)/(2)n=5

Multiply both sides by 2/5

n=2

The value of n = 2
