Combine like terms:

3y + 2y = 5y

4 + 1 = 5

80 = 5y + 5

Subtract 5 from both sides:

75 = 5y

Divide both sides by 5:

15 = y

The value of y is 15.

Standard form:

−5y + 75 = 0
Factorization:

−5(y − 15) = 0
Solutions:

y = 755 = 15

Hope this helped!
