A. 2 ATP

Glycolysis is the metabolic process for both aerobic and anaerobic cellular respiration. Carbohydrates are broken down into sugars, turning glucose molecule into 2 molecules of pyruvate and 2 molecules of ATP. (There are actually 4 molecules of ATP but 2 of them are used in creating 2 pyruvates.)
