Bobby is playing a game where he flips a coin and rolls a number cube labeled 1 through 6. He listed the possible outcomes in the sample space shown below: {(H, 1), (H, 2), (H, 4), (H, 5), (H, 6), (T, 1), (T, 2), (T, 4), (T, 5), (T, 6)} Which two elements did he leave out?

Answer: (H,3) and (T,3)

Explanation:

We know that the sample space is a set of all possible outcomes of an experiment.

The given event : Bobby is playing a game where he flips a coin and rolls a number cube labeled 1 through 6.

Then the possible outcomes : {H,T}×{1,2,3,4,5,6}={(H, 1), (H, 2), (H,3), (H, 4), (H, 5), (H, 6), (T, 1), (T, 2), (T,3) (T, 4), (T, 5), (T, 6)}→ Sample space

When we compare it to the given sample space , the two elements he left out = (H,3) and (T,3)
