I'm thinking its 4 to the 12 power but I am not completely sure on this

Hello!

When you multiply, the exponents add, so 4^1+4^1= 4^2.

In this problem we need to multiply 4^-8 to get 4^5.When adding you must add 13 to get -8 to 5.

This means our answer is 4^13.
