If p is a true statement and q is false, what is the truth value of p ∨ q?

1) T F → T

2) T F → F

3) F T → T

4) F T → F
only one is right

The answer is TF → T, because it says P is true and q is false. P is the first one (the T) and Q is the second one (the F). And since this is a true statement, it would say T after the arrow.

p\lor q is true if either of
p or
q is true. We know
p is true, which enough to say that
p\lor q is also true.
