In at least one hundred words, what inference does Lincoln make in this part of his “A House Divided” speech? What language does he use to make this inference?

In his famous "A House Divided Speech" Lincoln infers that the United States cannot exist as a half free half slave nation. Lincoln argues that the United States will end up either having slavery everywhere or no slavery at all. This is evident because in the speech he states "I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free."
