Yeast is a fungus with the capability of transforming food and sugars into
CO_(2).

Observations:

The more sugar, the more
CO_(2) will be produced.

Why? - Beacuse yeas transforms sugars into gas, the more sugar there is, the more gas can be produced.

Hope it helped,

Happy homework/ study/ exam!

Answer:

The correct answer will be-observing the circumference of balloon.

Step-by-step explanation:

The research performed to prove any hypothesis is of two types- qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis based on which the results could be qualitative as well as quantitative.

The qualitative data provides the information about the phenomenon which can be just observed and not measured while the quantitative data gives information about the quantity by providing a value.

In the given case, the students want to measure the amount of CO₂ by collecting the gas in the balloon. The qualitative aspect of this experiment can be measured by observing the circumference of the balloon as more amount of CO₂ produced more amount of gas trapped in balloon. This changes the circumference of the balloon.

Hence, observing the circumference of the balloon is the correct answer
