If I was an artist in the 19 century Delhi, I would make a poster with a might picture of the Sepoys shown fighting for the British.
However, underneath, I will mention how these 'brave' men have
grievences which are not being met.
The Taglines will include:
1. We fight for the British, but have no voice
2. We will protect Britain till our last breath, but will Britain listen to our hearts?
3. Our voice is being curbed by the world's most powerful Democracy, why?
The aim would be to show a policy of passive-aggression, where the superiority of the British rule is acknowledged only so that the people of India can actually come to the negotiating table.
