1. Contribution to the body of research- to what degree the research topic is innovative and original to the body of research, and not merely a replication or a modification of other studies.
2. Cost-effective- to what degree the study is practical and worthwhile, and can provide optimum results.
3. Relevance to the needs and problems of society- to what degree the research can provide solutions, and can make the people’s lives better and more efficient.
