There are 3024 different ways for the performers to stand in a row on stage.

There are 9 options for the first performer to be selected. Then, only 8 options for the next performer. Then, 7 and finally only 6.

To find the total number of ways.

We multiply all of these numbers together:

9 x 8 x 7 x 6 = 3024
