Jake has a bag of 50 beads, of which some are red and the remaining are yellow. Jake pulls out a bead from the bag, records the color, and replaces it in the bag. Jake has already recorded 3 red and 12 yellow beads. Based on the result, what is most likely the number of red beads in the bag?

3 + 12 = 15 So, for every 15 beads, 3 are red. 15 * 3 = 45 So, 9 beads out of 45 are red.
