Add the following quantities: 4.05 kg + 567.95 g + 100.1 g

My solution:

4.05 + 567.95 + 100.1 = 672.1

There are several things wrong with this solution. Tell me what they are.

You did not convert
Kg to g or g to Kg and the answer is far from being correct.

If we decided to convert everything that is in kg to g:

4050 + 567.95 + 100.1 = 4718.05g

Hope it helped,

Happy exam/ homework/ study!

Answer:

Before addition keep in mind that all the units of all the quantities should same.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find: 4.05 kg + 567.95 g + 100.1 g = ?

Solution :

Before adding all the quantities we must make all the units of the quantities same.

4.05 kg = 4050 g

1 kg = 1000 g

= 4.05 kg + 567.95 g + 100.1 g

= 4050 g + 567.95 g + 100.1 g = 4718.05 g
