Answer:

The solution of the given equation are
x=(-2-√(10))/(3) and
x=(-2+√(10))/(3).

Explanation:

If a quadratic equation is
ax^2+bx+c=0, then the quadratic formula is

x=(-b\pm √(b^2-4ac))/(2a)

The given quadratic equation is

3x^2+4x-2=0

Here,
a=3,b=4,c=-2

Using quadratic formula, we get

x=(-4\pm √(4^2-4(3)(-2)))/(2(3))

x=(-4\pm √(40))/(6)

x=(-4\pm 2√(10))/(6)

x=(-2\pm √(10))/(3)

Therefore the solution of the given equation are
x=(-2-√(10))/(3) and
x=(-2+√(10))/(3).
