Hello!

In order to figure this out, we must first figure out what 15% of 22,000 is. This is so we can figure out exactly how much value the car is losing.

In order to do this, multiply 22,000 by .15.

22,000 × .15 = 3,300

The car's value is decreasing by $3,300 each year.

Next, we multiply the value of decrement by the amount of years.

Value of decrement: 3,300
Amount of years: 3

3,300 × 3 = 9,900

So after three years, the car's value will have decreased by $9,900.

Finally, subtract 9,900 from 22,000 to get the value of the car after three years.

22,000 - 9,900 = 12,100

The car's value will have decreased to $12,100 after three years.
