Although the US Constitution does not explicitly says that the judicial review exists, it created the judicial system and especially the US Supreme Court to protect the Constitution. Because of that, in the case Marbury v. Madison in 1803 the US Supreme Court created “judicial review” that is the power that the judicial branch has to rule if any laws are compatible with the Constitution. If they are not compatible they are considered unconstitutional.
