Pythagorean theorem states: a^2+b^2=c^2. Where a and b are legs of a triangles. So, 12^2+15^2=c^2. 144+225=c^2. 369=c^2. c=19.21 (not a perfect square).

Hey there! :)
You have to use the Pythagorean Theorem: a² + b² = c²
a = 12
12² = 12 × 12 = 144
b = 15
15² = 15 × 15 = 225
144 + 225 = 369
√369 = 19.2
The hypotenuse is 19.2
Hope this helps
:)
