The correct answer is ionic bonding.

Electronegativity presents the ability of the atom to attract electrons. Different atoms have different levels of electronegativity. When two atoms that have a great difference between their levels of electronegativity (1,5 or more) form a bond, the atom with higher electronegativity attracts the electrons more, therefore '' steals'' the electron from the other atom resulting in formation of two ions with an ionic bond between them.
