Words, whether self-inflicted or inflicted by others, alter our mood and psychology. They ultimately affect our mental health.
For example, if A tells B the same thing every day, person B starts believing it and it inevitably becomes a part of B’s reality.
Only a strong willpower can alter B’s illusion inflicted by A

When you tell yourself positive (or negative) things, you start to believe them. For example, if you repeat to yourself "I am beautiful" every day, you will start to believe it and you will build confidence and you will feel better about yourself.
