THE HEIGHT
To find the height, use trigonometry ratio (tan) of 60°

\frac{\text{opposite}}{\text{adjacent}} = tan α

plug in the numbers

(height)/(10) = tan 60°

(height)/(10) = √3
move 10 to the right side
height = 10√3

The height is 10√3 cm

THE AREA
To determine the area of a triangle, use the following formula

\boxed{a= (1)/(2) * b * h }
b stands for the base, h stands for the height

plug in the numbers
a = 1/2 × b × h
a = 1/2 × 10 × 10√3
a = 5 × 10√3
a = 50√3

The area is 50√3 cm²
